Unmanaged, web managed, layer 2 and layer 3 options are offered through the range, up to the 4200vl modular chassis. Entry level products cater for the small business requirement, but not at the expense of quality or performance - the ProCurve 1700 24 port 10/100 switch provides 2 dual personality ports that can be used as RJ-4510/100/1000 or for fibre connections and provides a capacity of 8.4Gbs - not bad for an entry level switch!

At the other end of the scale the Procurve 4208vl modular chassis can provide up to 192 10/100 Ethernet ports or other combinations of Gigabit or fibre options at a capacity up to 76.8Gbs.
