We offer Windows 2008 virtual servers hosting FileMaker databases in the AWS EC2 cloud and deliver FileMaker Pro to your desktop from the cloud via Citrix XenApp. The databases run as if they're hosted on your local network and FileMaker as if it is running on your local desktop. Although smaller groups can be set up, the standard entry point is for 4 FileMaker Pro 11 licenses, plus 1 FileMaker Server 11 license. XenApp Fundamentals is used for environments of up to 75 users.

Virtual servers can be managed on your behalf or we can help you set up and manage your own.

Managing FileMaker Server 11 within Amazon EC2

The following link demonstrates the use of FileMaker Server 11, FileMaker Pro 11 and Citrix XenApp using a Rackspace virtual server. Examples of speed are demonstrated when running software all from a single virtual server, connecting locally to a virtual server and carrying out 'cloud to cloud' data exchanges.
