There are some differences to running FileMaker locally, but the only possible issue we've come across so far is when a PC is logged in to a database and is left to go to sleep. This can leave your cloud account in a disconnected state, rather than logged off, which can result in you having to contact us to reset your server account. However, this is only sometimes and not always. We welcome any reports of any problems caused by day to day use in Windows, so that we can make additions to this page.
