Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012 and 2016 Servers

All our our virtual servers in the cloud run 64 bit versions of Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012 or 2016 Servers.

Windows servers are a pre-requesite for our Citrix XenApp, Microsoft RemoteApp and FileMaker solutions, which are configured to optimise the performance of these, with any surplus features disabled or removed. This includes Active Directory and many network services that would normally be enabled on a LAN based server.

By reducing the number of services running on our servers we obtain a more focussed platform with improved performance, reliability and reduced risk of system errors or intrusion.
